Guests are welcome to use our attractive garden	Highfield is a clean warm and comfortable Victorian house near the centre of Ambleside providing a high standard of accommodation. All local amenities, including cafes and restaurants, pubs and cinema, are close by, also access to some of Lakeland's most popular fells for walking and climbing. Many lovely walks start from the house, including the Fairfield Horseshoe, Loughrigg Fell, Wansfell Pike, Red Screes and the beautiful circular walk to Grasmere. We are approximately 1 mile from Waterhead Pier for boat trips on Lake Windermere, sailing, swimming and fishing. Our private car park at the rear of the property has space for 1 car per room. We can also provide secure storage for up to 4 cycles by prior arrangement. We offer drying facilities for outdoor clothing and walking boots if required.
